Fees for Coutts World

An annual card fee of £350, with no extra fees for an additional card holder.

This fee will be refunded should you spend over £50, 000 per annum, excluding cash withdrawals, travellers cheques, interest and charges.

A fee of 2% (TYPICAL 53.9% APR* variable based on a Monthly Spending Limit for Advances of £1,500) of the cash withdrawal amount, or £1.50, whichever is the greater, is payable on each and every Advance. In calculating the APR, no account has been taken of any variation in the fees payable.

*The APR shown has been calculated under the new compulsory Consumer Credit Act regulations, which require us to use a £1,500 ‘notional’ credit limit. The £1,500 limit coupled with the £350 fixed annual card fee distorts the ‘advertised’ APR.

If we do not receive full repayment of the outstanding balance within 15 days of the date of the statement, we will charge you a late payment charge at the rate of 2% per month calculated on the average daily outstanding balance from the date of the statement for which full repayment is not received until the date on which full repayment is credited to your Account.

If a Card Transaction is made in a currency other than sterling, the amount will be converted and debited to the Account in sterling. The sterling amount will be calculated by applying the exchange rate and commission. The exchange rate used will be that which the Scheme provides to us. The commission will be 2.75%.

Exchange rates may fluctuate, and the exchange rate used for conversion may differ from the exchange rate prevailing when the Card Transaction is made.

The exchange rate shown on the Statement will have been adjusted to take into account the commission.

We may also charge for ancillary services such as providing copy Statements or details of vouchers. Such charges will be payable in accordance with our standard rates for the Account (as varied from time to time), details of which are available on request and will be pre-advised to you when you use the service.

Where appropriate, fees are charged on each anniversary of the Coutts World Card account opening.
